Regular Guild Meeting
We will go around the world in less than an hour with former guild member, Dr. Bill Lindsley. Dr. Bill is a recovering academic. As part of his rehabilitation, he picked up a camera, went into a darkroom—and thus began a passionate love affair. He has since travelled to over 60 countries in all seven continents, attempting to capture the beauty of this wonderful planet and its wonderful people—and share it with others. He will share his photographic experiences illustrated by his images from various destinations around the world. Whether you are a novice or an experienced photographer, or whether you are shooting in your backyard or in Timbuktu, there will be something for you to expand your own photo experience—and perhaps be inspired to see some new destination
Dr. Bill is way over-educated, with degrees from Virginia, Boston College, and MIT. He taught for many years at Boston College and Vanderbilt, and served several years as a dean. He is married to his travel partner, Linda Tuero Lindsley, a former top-ten professional tennis player, has three children and nine grandchildren. He has lived in various parts of the USA, including four treasured years in St. Simons. He currently lives in Music City USA (Nashville, TN), though he has no musical talent whatsoever.
